This Reality – Podcast No 24

Episode 24 – 47 minutes running time

It’s a horrible August Saturday morning in Studio K in rural Worcestershire. Today we have six tracks that will love you forever if you’ll only tell them how good they are.

1. Paramore and ‘Misery Business’
2. Echobliss and ‘Shed my Skin’
3. Danny Rhymez and MattyB and ‘See Me’
4. DJ Zebra’s mashup ‘Break Through Love’
5. Anemo and ‘Pray’
6. The Stone Coyotes and ‘Blue Mountain’

As if these slices of aural titilation aren’t enough to get you feeling hot about music, we also offer you chunks of random conversation that includes…

* A new feature on the first Saturday of every month – Request Day!
* The frustrating world of laser printers
* A religious group at work? Surely not!
* Why do geese do that? An answer!
* Dogs – handle with great care!
* Toilet breaks and not hanging on to it!
* Twice as many non-athletes attend the Olympic Games from This Reality – bonkers!
* many other things!!!

  1. Walter in Deutschland says:

Some more good music and the narration is excellent. I like backing music and background audio. The bands are very strong too, an interesting mix of style and type. I liked the electronic/rap track but you are right when you say it is a rougg diamond. The girl has a nice voice. Not English?

  2. Janis says:

Again again again again. You are funny sad and outraged with such a brilliant taste in music behind you. We all want to say thank you for playing the Sigur Ros because we have never heard it before. It is such a beautiful sound, the radio stations in the US would never play it. And Mary really got off on the dance track, she loves the guy’s accent and plays it back with lots of base.

  3. Dearest Mr Brennig Jones,

danny rhymez and matty b would like to thankyou for a lovely podcast, although i would like to make one complaint!
you should warn listeners to put down newspaper and plastic sheets, i got so excited i stained most of my furniture. my carpets like a spunky marsh! thanks a lot!

in reply to janis’s post, who’s Mary? is she hot?

  4. Tammy Wende says:

Danny Rhymez and MattyB’s ‘See Me’…..Don’t worry. My credibility is down the tubes with the D.J.’s. I am a closet fan too.

Echoblisses “Shed my Skin” is also very very good!

Thanks for putting out these original works.

  5. Janis says:

Is it Danny or Matty asking? And which one are we listening to on the track? And yes, Mary is hot. She’s my room-mate here at Northeastern State. And it’s so funny you call Bren ‘Mr’. But a spunky marsh? Eeew!
