This week we throw our usual convention out of the window as we open the doors to the four members of the talented Oxfordshire indie collective: inLight.
Frankly, it takes a special kind of person to march in to someone else’s setup and take it over. This weekend there were *four* special people of exactly that kind in Studio L in rural Oxfordshire; disruption and just a little mayhem may have reined, but we hope the audio experience is as good for you as it was for us.
We also deal with an amazing number of questions (and indeed answers) from just some of our listeners.
Talkie bits:
* The Cheese Game is postponed for a week. We discussed it in the studio and it the consensus was clear that six players in the game at once would be too many (unless we played the Wagner code, which we didn’t want to
* We are introduced to the members of inLight; as the questions skim around the table, so does the conversation. The banter, wit and humour are there for everyone to listen to
* We pay a very quick visit to the winner of the 2009 Darwin Awards

I have to say here instead of emailing in, this was brilliant. Thank you so much to everyone who made a contribution, my journeys to work and home were made more enjoyable than usual.
Just listened. Loved this one. It’s so nice to hear a band as a number of characters rather than the manufactured rubbish that I often see, hear or read about. Inlight’s music is distinctive. But they’re really good musicians aren’t they? Random how they all met. Anyway I expect you’ll keep us in touch with how their plans progress and with their gig calendar for 2010.
Good Morning Everyone! Wow it is soooo gorgeous today, the sun is just beautiful and we are all going home for the Christmas Break! Yayyyyyyy.
The girls and I listened to this show last night while we were getting ready to go out for our goodbye meal and it was really fantastic to listen to you all. The band Inlight make very cool music, it is very serious-sounding but easy to listen to but we are not sure how we would dance to it. Kind of sitting down music, does that make sense?
Anyway I am rambling but I need to say that hearing so many accents and voices was very very cool and the guy Charlie has a very dry sense of humour which seemed to go well with Bren’s, but everyone else was just very amusing and fun. We all would have loved to have been there because it just sounded so entertaining and Sophie sounded as if she was enjoying being with so many boys. Did you all really drink lots of wine?
It has been manic here with our exams but we have all said we will keep up with you guys and will also go and see the band’s website from home, as soon as we get there. Honestly, you have no idea what an entertaining breath of fresh air this is particularly after listening to WRBB on 104.9 or even worse WBCN which would not know some good music if you put it in the post to them with a BIG LABEL that said THIS IS GOOD MUSIC.
Anyway dudes, just have a great time and we will all still be here listening, especially when we get back after the holiday break.
